How to determine if the high-efficiency filter has been scrapped?

High efficiency filter scrap this problem is an important issue that users have to face, because only correctly judge the high efficiency filter has been scrapped, in order to do the corresponding high efficiency filter replacement plan, after our collection and sorting, there are two situations can determine the high efficiency filter scrap:

First, when doing environmental testing, it is found that the suspended particles in the room are obviously high, after excluding other reasons, remove the diffuser plate of the high efficiency air supply port, there is damage on the surface of the air supply port, there are black gray traces, in this phenomenon, the high efficiency filter can not be used, and replace the new filter in time. If the filter is not obviously damaged, use the air volume cover to measure the air supply volume of each air supply port in the room, and the air supply volume becomes larger and is replaced.

Second, in the case of other air filters without any abnormal, the room air supply outlet air supply volume is less than half of the standard air supply volume, indicating that the filter has been blocked, and the blocked high efficiency filter should be replaced.

Replacement of high efficiency filter:
Remove the spreader plate of scrapped HEPA filter; Loosen the fastener of the HEPA filter, and after removing the HEPA filter, check the static pressure box, fastener and panel for rust and loss. If rust is found, remove rust and spray paint. According to the specifications and quantity of the new high efficiency filter, check that the outer package of the high efficiency filter should be complete, without damage, the certificate of the high efficiency filter should be complete, the outer frame should be durable, and the filter paper should not be damaged; Remove the outer package and put it in a clean and dry place. The inner package should be kept intact before installation.

When replacing some high efficiency filters in the clean area, clean the plenum of the high efficiency filter with a clean cloth, then open the inner package of the high efficiency filter, paste the seal strip to the air inlet side of the high efficiency filter, smoothly put the high efficiency filter into the plenum, and pay attention to handling gently, and record the high efficiency filter specifications, models, numbers and installation positions. When fixing the filter, first check that the filter is in the middle of the static pressure box, the distance between the filter and the static pressure box is equivalent, and the fixed parts should be fixed diagonally to prevent uneven force or damage to the filter. The fixing nut in the plenum should be tightened so that the connection between the high efficiency filter and the plenum is consistent and sealed. Then open the air conditioning unit, after ventilation of the system, open the inner package of the high efficiency filter, and replace it according to the above steps.

After installing the HEPA filter, run the system to check for air leakage. When air leakage is found, do the following: tighten the fastener or replace the seal and reinstall it. If the high efficiency filter itself is leaking, a new high efficiency filter needs to be replaced. Next, install the high efficiency filter panel. When installing, install it in the direction of the original mark, and minimize the gap between the panel and the ceiling to prevent dust accumulation. After the high efficiency filter is installed, the environment should be tested again and verified to provide the most reliable basis for determining the scrap of the high efficiency filter next time.

Introduction of surface speed, dust capacity and life of high efficiency filter:

Surface speed and filtration speed: Measuring the ability of HEPA filters to handle air volume is usually expressed by surface speed, and sometimes by filtration speed, which is the same for flat plate filters. Surface velocity refers to the airflow velocity through the filter section, generally expressed in m/s. The filtration speed refers to the airflow speed through the filter material area. Due to the different requirements for high efficiency filters, the filter material area set in the filter is also different, sometimes larger than the broken area of the filter tens of times. Therefore, the filtration speed is smaller than the surface speed, usually expressed in m/min or cm/s. The size of the filter speed is directly related to the performance of the filter. The high filtration speed will reduce the purification efficiency and increase the resistance; Therefore, in order to reduce the resistance, the filter speed of the high efficiency filter is usually very small, and the area of the filter material is very large.

Dust capacity and life The dust capacity of the air filter refers to the rated amount of dust that the filter can hold and retain from the initial resistance to the final resistance, expressed in the amount of dust (kg) on the transition area of 2 meters per meter. For high efficiency filters, the dust capacity has more important significance than the general industrial dust collector (such as bag dust collector), because when the dust collector reaches the rated dust capacity, the dust adhering to the filter material of the dust collector often falls into the ash hopper by cleaning, the resistance decreases, and the dust is restored to close to the original state. However, for air filters, the filter needs to be removed after reaching the rated dust capacity to clean and regenerate (such as foam filter), and sometimes replace the filter material. Therefore, the size of the dust content also determines the life of the filter. The larger the dust capacity, the longer the life of the filter, it can be seen that the dust capacity is an important performance indicator of the life of the air filter. The amount of dust capacity is related to the high efficiency filter ferry, and the ideal ferry structure is the best gradient structure, that is, the filter structure is transitioned from loose to dense, and this structure can obtain a larger dust capacity and the highest efficiency.
