① Choose a filter with a large filter area.
The larger the filtration area of the air filter, the lower the filtration speed, and the smaller the resistance of the air filter. Under specific air filter structure conditions, the filter speed is reflected in the rated air volume of the air filter. Under the same cross-sectional area, it is hoped that the larger the rated air volume allowed, the better, and when operating under the rated air volume, the efficiency is improved and the resistance is reduced. At the same time, increasing the filtration area is the most effective means to extend the service life of the air filter. Experience shows that for the same structure, the same filter material filter. When the final resistance is determined, the filtration area is increased by 50%, and the service life of the air filter is extended by 70% to 8O%. However, while considering increasing the filtration area, the structure and site conditions of the air filter should also be taken into account.
② Reasonable determination of air filter efficiency at all levels.
When designing air conditioners, the efficiency of the last stage air filter should first be determined according to the actual requirements, and then the pre-filter that plays a protective role should be selected. It is necessary to properly match the efficiency of all levels of air filters, and be good at using and configuring the optimal filter particle size range of the primary and middle efficiency filters. The selection of the pre-filter should be decided according to the use of the environment, spare parts costs, operation energy consumption, maintenance costs and other factors. The minimum count filtration efficiency of air filters of different efficiency levels for dust particles of different sizes, which usually refers to the efficiency of new air filters without static electricity. At the same time, the configuration of comfort air conditioning filters should be different from that of purified air conditioning systems, and different requirements should also be put forward for the installation of air filters and leakage prevention.
③ Resistance of air filter
The resistance of the air filter is mainly composed of the filter material resistance and the structural resistance of the air filter, the ash resistance of the air filter increases, and the air filter is scrapped when the resistance increases to a specified value. The final resistance is directly related to the service life of the air filter, the system air volume variation range, and the system energy consumption. Low efficiency air filters often use coarse fiber filter material with a diameter greater than 10/.,tm, the gap between the fibers is large, too much resistance may blow the dust on the air filter, causing secondary pollution, and at this time the resistance is no longer increased, and the filtration efficiency is zero. Therefore, the final resistance value of the filter below G4 should be strictly limited.
The dust capacity of the air filter
The dust capacity of the air filter is an indicator that has a direct relationship with the service life. In the process of dust accumulation, low efficiency air filters are more likely to show that the efficiency increases first and then decreases. Most of the air filters used in general comfort central air conditioning systems are disposable, they simply cannot be cleaned or are not worth cleaning from an economic point of view.
